HANDLING THE PRESSURES OF PARENTING
“It takes a village to raise a child.”
- African Proverb
Parenting a child with High-Functioning Autism, Tourette, ADHD, OCD, and associated disorders presents with unique challenges. Many parents find themselves frustrated with the day-to-day struggles, which can then lead to even more difficulties.
The Joshua Center is offering this three-part workshop starting in October. Join us on for three evenings as we explore new techniques, avenues of support, and receive expert advice for raising children with neurological disorders.
Mike Sumler, LMFT, has worked exclusively with these children for more than twenty years and has helped thousands of parents learn how to change their parenting styles and bring harmony to their homes.
Kris Mitchell, LMFT, joined us thirteen years ago and has also worked exclusively with this population. He is dedicated to helping children grow and flourish.
